On-Site Boothless Hearing Testing

  • Testing performed within a quiet area of your facility that will be certified using a sound level meter.

  • Testing is conducted by licensed audiologists or CAOHC certified technicians.

  • Testing software designed around OSHA/MSHA regulations.

  • Testing up to 120 employees per day.

  • Flexible scheduling to cover all work shifts.

  • Notification and review of test results provided to each employee.

  • In-house Doctor of Audiology performs all audiogram reviews.

Program Management

What to expect with Our On-Site Hearing Testing

    • Scheduling of testing dates, shifts, times, and locations

    • Previous hearing testing data transfer and entry

    • Explanation of general on-site flow and services to be provided

    • On-site setup and noise level certifications

    • Daily equipment calibrations

    • Employee intake case-history questionnaire and demographics completion

    • Audiogram testing instructions with the ability to provide in-headphone instructions in 20 languages

    • Audiologist/CAOHC technician testing oversight with the ability to perform integrated manual testing if needed

    • Ambient noise continuously monitored per OSHA/MSHA guidelines

    • Immediate Standard Threshold Shift (STS) retests often reducing the need for follow up testing

    • Detailed explanation of results delivered to the employee immediately following the test

    • Fact sheet about hearing tests given to each employee

    • Ability to answer questions or refer the employee to the in-house audiologist for more detailed questions or concerns

    • Audiologist analysis of all audiograms

    • STS follow-up for any employee recommended for a retest within thirty days

      o Noise exposure level verification

      o Recordability survey and determination opinion

    • OSHA/MSHA required reporting package

    • OSHA/MSHA retraining material provided for employees with a confirmed STS
